New Symbols
Asset Select+
This update introduces an entirely new custom symbol, the Asset Select+. Asset Select+ is a powerful PI Vision custom symbol that transforms how users select and filter assets in AVEVA PI Vision dashboards. Whether you're building a control room overview, KPI dashboard, or drill-down display — Asset Select+ helps you get to the right asset fast.
New Features
General
- The configuration pane now supports spanish and portuguese language
- New Time Bar: This update introduces a new optional time bar for each custom symbol that supports time ranges (like the Combo Chart, or the Time Series Table).
- The Time Bar allows you to change the symbols time range without altering the pi vision display time bar
- Configure different time ranges, and use the < > buttons to move the symbols time back and forth
Time Series Table+
- Now supports multiple column calculations (sum, min, max, avg, etc.) at the same time
- You can now split a string into individual columns
Manual Input Table+
- You can now properly delete digital state error values (like No Data, Calc Failed, etc.)
Value+
- Display multiline strings by defining a max. character length, for which the symbol will automatically wrap to a new line
- The delimiter for line breaks can now be configured individually
Events Table+
- Performance improvements when loading for the first time
- Download button can now be configured to use a certain download file type, instead of just csv
- Additional options for PDF exporting (style, font size, margins)
Map+
- Asset Coordinates will now update when the display time changes
- New View Cycling: Automatically have the map move between different views
Navigation Menu+
- Additional option to open the menu on hover instead of just clicking
Bug fixes
- Time Series Table+: Fixed an issue where the scroll position was reset while the user was scrolling
- Events Table+: Download of the asset column now just returns the actual name instead of the full path
- WebView+: Interval with global reference time was not working properly
- All Tables: Editing lists on smartphones now doesn't close the list automatically when clicking the cell
- Box Plot+: Fixed an issue with multiple datasources displaying incorrect data
- Events Table+: Fixed a loading race condition when the user was quickly switching between different time ranges back and forth
