Current or Calculated Values
- Live or Summarized: Show the current value, or let PI Web API calculate a Total, Average, Minimum, Maximum, Range, Standard Deviation, Count, or Percent Good.
- Time or Event Weighted: Choose the calculation basis that fits your data, including time-weighted totals with a conversion factor and unit.
- Flexible Time Ranges: Calculate over the display time range, a custom PI time range, or a rolling duration with offset. Calculations follow playback and historical display times.
Context at a Glance
- Target Comparison: Compare against a fixed value, the AF Target trait, a past value (e.g. a day ago), or a historical average. Show the difference as a value or percent, with an optional tolerance band.
- Sparkline Trends: Add a line or bar sparkline as a background overlay or in a dedicated bottom area. Use the target as the baseline to see at once when the value was above or below it.
- Data Quality Built In: Bad, questionable, substituted and stale values get compact indicators, so users can tell a real KPI from a data problem.
