New Symbols
Asset Comparison Table+
This update introduces an entirely new custom symbol, the Asset Comparison Table+. Asset Comparison Table+ is an advanced custom symbol for AVEVA PI Vision that, visualizes and compares asset relative data in a highly configurable table control.
New Features
General
- All symbols now support saving the current configuration as default
- Support for restoring configuration from the default setting (requires PI Vision 2024)

- Configurable Font Family
- Improved rendering so table headers will only take up as much space as needed
Time Series Table+
- Received a major overhaul of the configuration UI
- Max Rows / Columns feature and server side sorting
- Ad-Hoc Chart window support
- New transposed view, for showing timestamps as columns
Events Table+
- Comparing Events by Name and Type is now supported
- Grouping will now be retained when the table data is updated
- New toolbar buttons for expanding/collapsing groups and event frame children
Combo Chart+
- Discrete time range mode now supports multistate limit traces
Manual Input Table+
- New column grouping options
- New property "Max. Events" to limit the number of retrieved data points for large time ranges
Map+
- New "Rotation" option for markers, allows for displaying wind direction
- Improved compression for uploaded kml and gpx files
- Ability to hide individual labels from the tooltip / data labels
Navigation Menu+
- Configuration pane is now locked for users that cannot write the configuration element
Waterfall Chart+
- Visual overhaul
Bug fixes
- Asset Select+: Fixed a bug that caused the table to not be saved
- Asset Comparison Bar Chart+: Asset context switching will not prompt a save anymore
- Combo Chart+: Timezone override now works correctly for tooltips
- Events Table+: Fixed UOMs not displaying for referenced element attributes
- Manual Data Entry+: Editing fields will now use the proper font size
- Time Series Table+: Will now not display an error for data limits (requires saving the display, and PI Vision version 2024)
- Value+: Fixed a bug where copy label and ad hoc chart button clicks were not registered
- Manual Input Table+: Fixed a bug where future data was not displayed correctly when using custom time ranges
