Wow, I’ve been bugging vendors for about 13 years trying to get someone to build this! Both OSIsoft and AVEVA flat out said, ‘No, we’re not doing it’.
We built a demo under the temp license, and the mill loved it. Now we have displays for three types of profiles, each configured as element relative for four paper machines. We have other displays for three types of profiles for an off-machine coater with three scanners, showing each scanner profile for each property. For icing on the cake, we created tables using the Time Series Table Plus listing Reel IDs and Grade Codes to provide links to the profiles with that specific time range so you can jump right to that Reel!
