Overview
Deployment Readiness is a pre-flight check for the PI Nexus+ installation. It is designed to catch common first-scan problems before a scan is started.
Before the first scan:
- Go to Admin > Support.
- Open Readiness.
- Click Refresh.
- Review each group.
- Fix Error items before scanning.
- Review Warning items and decide whether they are acceptable for the first test.
Readiness checks include:
- Database bootstrap and schema.
PI Nexus+ Scannerservice availability.- License status.
- Target configuration.
- ProgramData permissions.
- Staging table state.
- Latest scan status.
- SQL Server and scan-workspace memory diagnostics when the database identity can read the required management views.
- Support bundle availability.
Readiness warnings do not block scans by themselves. They are shown so the administrator can decide whether to continue. For example, a missing PI Vision instance may be acceptable if PI Vision is not used, while a missing license or database schema issue must be fixed before scanning.
A good result for this section is Good overall readiness, or only warnings that are understood and accepted.
