Overview
Open External Systems to review the health of PI data flowing to or from named systems.
- Use the health cards, search, type, and Source/Target/Both filters to narrow the list.
- Each row shows the system's role, affected PI Point counts, support owner, and latest evaluation time.
- Health is derived from connected PI Points. Error takes precedence over Warning, which takes precedence over Good.
- Suppressing an issue hides that issue from active counts; it does not change the derived health. An administrator must configure Ignore to remove a condition's health impact.
- Derived Data Health is not a connectivity test. PI Nexus+ does not authenticate to the external system or store connector credentials.
- PI Vision display graphs omit some low-level detail to stay readable. Open the AF Attribute detail when you need to inspect limits directly.
