PI Nexus+ follows a scan-driven workflow:

  1. A scan collects inventory from PI Data Archives, Asset Framework, and PI Vision.
  2. PI Nexus+ evaluates inventory health and materializes current issues.
  3. The web app shows health KPIs, issue lists, object details, dependencies, and change history.
  4. Users investigate unhealthy objects, find root causes, and fix the source system.
  5. A follow-up scan refreshes inventory, recalculates health, and confirms whether the issue is resolved.
  6. Intentional or accepted exceptions can be suppressed with a reason, so they no longer distort active health counts.

Use PI Nexus+ as a triage and investigation tool. The application points to the likely unhealthy object and its dependencies; the actual repair usually happens in PI Data Archive, Asset Framework, PI Vision, or the process that owns those systems.
