Glossary
- AF attribute: A value or configuration field associated with an AF element.
- AF element: An asset or logical object in an AF hierarchy.
- Data source: A PI Point, AF attribute, asset, event-frame field, or other input used by a symbol.
- Display time range: The shared PI Vision start and end time applied to symbols that follow display time.
- Event frame: A PI System record with a start time, end time, and contextual attributes.
- Multi-state: Conditional colors or styles applied from configured states or limits.
- PI Point: An individual time-series point in the PI Data Archive.
- Symbol time range: A time range maintained by one symbol independently of the display range.
